Since 2020, pricing power in the media industry has eroded substantially from highs of over 12% to under 4% today. The reason is consumer expectations have shifted, and most media companies struggle to see or respond to them. Each company’s business framework and how they utilize it to monetize and keep customers will be the key to unlocking growth and profits.
